and a thread was started to discuss it, do you think you would receive the same treatment on here that Megan Angerer did?  Hopefully Dan Shaw would post the facts, delete the speculative posts, and lock the thread, for all of us.

You mean treated like she was.  Sounds like someone is trying to hurt the reputation of her mother thru her which is wrong.   And I would hope that people would not post stories like that before the facts are out.  I would hope no one recieves that because of who their parent is.

My question is now.....whos bringing in the bail money to get my butt out of jail?  Anyone??

never happen.  I am in no way defending any of the posts.  But I do think if you live a public life sometimes there is backlash.  I don't think its right but human nature seems to make people jealous, curious, crazy and mean.  Like I said in another post poor Megan is an adult and her mother is not her keeper.  She has raised her and now it is up to Megan to make her own choices.  I wish her the best of luck.  Sounds like she needs it.

I agree - her actions should not be reflected onto her mother at all. 

And I will NEVER be arrested for shop lifting either!

If I ever get arrested for shoplifting it better NOT be a stinkin Target (don't get me wrong I love Target) but I guess if I have to go to jail it better be for Saks 5th Ave and for something totally incredible that would be worth the humiliation of all that I'd have to endure. UGH.


No I'll NEVER get arrested b/c I will NEVER shoplift..... again. bwhahahahhaahhah I'm KIDDING!

lol.  I wasn't trying to ask if anybody thinks they will be arrested for shoplifting.  

My question was would Dan Shaw do for the average Joe what he did for Megan?  That is:  research and post the facts, delete the speculative posts, and lock the thread.  

Probably not, but then again the potential for that thread to grow out of control was much greater than it would have been for a regular guy/gal.
