Transition Planning Parent Information Night

The Monroe County Parent Advisory Committee  of the Monroe County Intermediate School District, in collaboration with Airport High School, will host a Transition Planning Parent Information Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 6 at Airport High School's media center, 11330 Grafton Rd., Carleton.

This event is for students of high school age and older who have IEP or 504 plans regarding to developmental disabilities, along with their parents. The PAC offers this presentation to help ease the transitition to adulthood. Presenters will include staff from the Monroe County Internediate School District, Michigan Department of Reabilitation Services, Monroe County Community College, Monroe ARC, the Department of Human Services, Goodwill Industries, Lutheran Social Services, and the Monroe County Youth Opportunity Program.
