The MonroeTalks calendar is hosted by Monroe Publishing Co. and follows the same guidelines as The Monroe Evening News as far as what events are listed at no charge. Events submitted via this form will be listed in all available print and on-line calendars as long as the appropriate deadlines are met.
Most listings are events and meetings that are hosted or sponsored by charity, civic, fundraiser and non-profit groups. Vendor shows and information expos such as those held at the MB&T Expo Center are included on a case-by-case basis. Those who wish to announce a commercial or business event are asked to contact our advertising department at advertising@monroenews.com
For best results, events in Monroe County, Mich., should be submitted at least a week before the event or reservation deadline. Events that are held elsewhere in southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio should be submitted at least two weeks before the event or reservation deadline. Events whose locations are more than an hour’s drive from Monroe, Mich., are normally not included in our calendars.
