Summer Fun Fest in Bedford

Bedford Child Development Center and Bedford Church of the Nazarene will host a Summer Fun Fest from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday Aug. 29 at the church, 7866 Douglas Rd., Lambertville.

There will be free food, music, games, activities and crafts for all ages. There will be a raffle for donated prizes with tickets $1 each or six for $5. There will also be free backpacks filled with school supplies for the school year.

Child Development Director Cynthia Maher said the festival is the center's and church's way of giving back to the community.
