Fundraiser party for Sametta Stoner

A fundraiser birthday party will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday July 31 at St. Mary's Park.

This party is hosted by actress / model Madison O'Neill of Monroe in honor of her 7th birthday. The donations are requested for Sametta Stoner, a 7-year-old girl from Monroe who has cancer. Sametta's father is a disabled retiree so her family is having difficulty covering the out-of-pocket medical expenses.

There will be $1 tickets available at the park for food, moonwalks, slides, slushes, popcorn, dunk tank, face paint, 'crazy hair spray,' clowns, a toy raffle and tattoos.

Madison had hosted a birthday party fundraiser last year as a benefit for Tommy Brancheau's medical expenses.

'I want to raise a lot of money for Sametta and help her get better. We had a lot of fun last year and I want to do it again this year,' Madison said in her announcement.

Madison has appeared in commercial and print ads and recently filmed segments for a new weekly children's show, 'Aunt Molly and Friends.'
