Keep Your Family Safe Day at Mercy Memorial Hospital

Mercy Memorial Hospital will host the Keep Your Family Safe Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday May 30 at the hospital campus, 718 N. Macomb St.

There will be information, activities and demonstrations on bicycle safety, fire safety, home safety, skateboard safety and other topics.

Mascots in attendance are expected to include State Farm Good Neigh Bear, Click It the Cricket and Louie the Lightning Bug.

There will also be free car seat safety checks. Parents should bring their child, car set, car seat instruction book and vehicle instruction book to those sessions.

Additional sponsors include DTE Energy, Frenchtown Fire Department, Monroe Fire Department, Michigan State Police, Monroe Family YMCA, Safe Sleep Coalition and State Farm Insurance.
