The Fourth Annual Monroe County Lake Erie Muskrat Run will be held Saturday Feb. 14. The Muskrat Mile run starts at 10:30 a.m. The 5K race starts at 11 a.m. The starting point is Sterling State Park, 2800 State Park Rd., off N. Dixie Hwy. at I-75 Exit 15. Entry fee is $20 if postmarked before Feb. 2 or $25 for the day of the race. The Muskrat Mile entry fee is $5 any time. Participants also are required to have a Michigan State Park vehicle entry permit which is $6 for a day pass or have an annual / season pass for the vehicle. Shirts are not guaranteed for day of race registration. Door prize winners must be present to win. Checks payable to Monroe County Community Foundation, mailed to Muskrat Run, care of Monroe County Community Foundation, 28 S. Macomb St., Monroe Mich. 48161.
