River Raisin Ice Harvest Festival

Friday and Saturday and Sunday February 27 - 28 Enjoy the beauty and elegance of some of the most beautiful ice figures in the region, carved from crystal clear 350 pound blocks of ice. Brought to you by La-Z-boy Incorporated, Monroe Bank & Trust, DTE Energy, Monroe Rubber & Plastic, In Memory of John M. McIntyre, Tiffany's Pizza and the Downtown Monroe Business Newtwork and Mainstreet Monroe DDA.

Friday night ICE carvings, take the tour of carved figures, live music in restaurants, cafes' and pubs, Downtown Retail stores Icy Hot specials and late shopping till 10 pm. Visit the Dorsch Memorial Library to warm up, read a book and have some Hot Chocolate!

Saturday Ice Carving Demonstrations at Noon , 2 pm, 4 pm and 6 pm. Meet the Mayor and local officials. Enjoy the newly re-opened Dorsch Memorial Library and so much more! The Dorsch Memorial Library is once again open till 9 pm with FREE Hot Chocolate. Enjoy the Monroe County Library System Black History Month Big Gig Blues Concert at the River Raisin Centre for the Arts at 7 pm.
