Save your paper and do not send me your advertising sections unless they include Bedford or Toledo businesses It has been 12 years since I traveled to Monroe to purchase anything.

I really like having a local newspaper. The papers in Monroe and
Toledo do not give us very good coverage. The Toledo TV stations
will not cover anything happening up here, unless it involves
shutting down a road or highway, or is a homicide.
I do wish that someone on the newspaper staff would closely
monitor the postings, especially new subjects, as I have found
several which are just plugs for some business or product.
Bedford Now has allowed some of our elected officials to
basically write their own self-congratulating stories. If one
of these people truly does something news-worthy, have
your staff write it up (briefly).

There's an old adage...

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You guys have really screwed up these screens.  The fonts are so small now that I can hardly read them.  If I make them larger, then the word wrap goes off the screen.  And the colors are simply a distraction.

I've had enough.  I'm movin' on.

Not sure what the cheesehead's problem is.  The entire screen fits on my  3 computer screen as well as our laptops and cell phones with room to spare.  As for colors, the muted blue, white and grey are easy for my eyes to adjust to.

I think everything is fine...can almost see the info without reading glasses.  I use them for everything else on the computer so not a big deal here.   As for colors, I think the muted grays are just fine.  All those bright colors that look like a Christmas tree are hard on the eyes.

Here's an editing suggestion...

Right now, we type the rough draft for a new topic...or for a reply.  We then do a spell check.

It does the check.  And, for words that are unique to your dictionary (that aren't caught as we type), it highlights those words...and gives us an option to either change or ignore.

I'd like to see one more option during the check...Add to Dictionary.

Basically, I *DO* add them to my dictionary.  I exit spell check, then go back to the rough draft, find the word that spell check found that I didn't want to change, right click on the word, and then pick the option to Add to Dictionary.  It would be a lot easier if Add was an option in the initial spell check.

For instance, I've added 'yer' for 'you're'...'gonna' for 'going to',etc...which more closely expresses my personal dialect of the English language. :)

Since you made the recent changes, I need to type in my user name and password each time
I want to enter the forum.

have no problem with user name and password, It works okay.
But the link is missing from the first page when one clicks on the caption Bedford Now.  The link for the stories underneath are ok.
It's also missing on the android phone app.  After clicking on Links one gets the list of links.
Click on Bedford Now.com  and you get Web page not available.

I may not have been very clear.
The Monroenews.com works fine on the computer when viewing the BedfordNow.com
But when viewing it on a mobile devise and selecting Desktop view it goes to Web page not available.

Emoticons aren't working.  They show up in the preview.  But they don't show up in the posting.

I see that with the icons although there are no pictures.  Never use them so I didn't notice,
