Betty, If you wanted to mention this person and have everyone give them a pat on the back, you should have said who it was. They must want credit for it and you want all of us to know that you are aware of who it was. Personally, I don't care who it was, I'm just glad it's staying and anyone, especially the politicians who had a hand in it were doing their jobs. After all, the are their to serve us.

I see no reason to put a negative spin on this victory.
Kathy Angerer did a great job, Randy Richardville worked in a non-partisan way to assist Kathy when politics got in the way, and Walt led a coalition in south-county leaders to show a unified stance, and he helped negotiate a lower rental rate for the state. This is the kind of stuff we have been asking our elected officials to do.
At the trade fair I heard some talk about closing was the right thing to do. Wow, no-one is more against government waste than me, but c'mon, this community is large enough and isolated enough to justify an office.
This is good stuff folks.

I really used to like reading this forum. Now it has turned into a know it all forum for know it all people. Reminds me of the 5 year olds I teach....let's have some respect and intelligent posts. And where is our sense of humor?

Lots of people were praying for the office not to close! Thanks to another office costing too much to renew and upgrade, that is keeping Bedford office open! Sorry for their loss, happy for your gain!

Exactly LC. Boy let me begin with my own humor over how badly I typed and misspelled words. Teach me to be in a hurry.
