Does anyone know that the Foodtown on Secor closed their pharmacy??

I believe that the pharmacy was contracted out. That is rather surprising to me that it would have pulled out. They always seemed pretty busy.

Sorry to see them close the pharmacy. They remodeled not that long ago. That was where my family went as they were very good. Most likely they sold the scripts to Walgreen's as they were the highest bidder. This would seem to signal to me that the store plans on closing soon and that they could get more money now then they could get later if they announced the closing first. I would expect that we will see a sign pretty soon announcing that the store is closing.

Up for sale again...maybe already sold to a developer. The value of that corner is much less than it was before Walgreens came to town. If I were developing it, I would clear the entire corner, and put in a MINI Walmart.

Did you know there are mini Walmart, true. LOL,  I know Cracker Barrel and Bob Evans had scouts in Bedford last spring.
